Thanks to the new streamlined HACIA registration process, you can complete your registration process through a standardized form. Before you begin, please read all of the information on this page and review the registration dates on the right.
Applications received after December 27th, 2016 will be considered on the basis of space availability. Due to the nature of our conference costs, no refunds will be awarded after delegates have registered.
HACIA Democracy has a strict no refund policy after registration. We understand this may pose an inconvenience to some delegates. Due to the nature of our conference, however, most of the costs we incur are fixed; we cannot modify our hotel contract based on delegates being unable to attend last minute, for example. If we were to process refunds, we would be forced to raise our registration fees for all delegates. We offer three registration dates to maximize flexibility for attending schools. You can register for HACIA Democracy XXIII at any time between now and January 1st, 2017. We encourage you to register as soon as you know your delegation size, in order to lock in our best registration fees. Applications submitted after January 1st, 2017 will be processed on the basis of space available. Please contact [email protected] if you are registering past the deadline.
To register your delegation, please follow these five short steps:

Please read through our Quick Guide to Registration to make sure you fully understand the registration process. Students wishing to participate in a crisis cabinet or the Junior Co-Chair program must submit the corresponding special application form.
This is the main registration document. Before you begin, please collect information about your Faculty Advisors, your school, and the number of students in your delegation. Due to popular request, HACIA will NOT be handling hotel reservations, as opposed to last year. Special Applications must be uploaded as part of this main registration form.
After you complete the Registration Form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a copy of your responses.
Within 2 business days after the submission of your Registration Form, you will receive a confirmation of your registration. Please note that your registration will not be considered complete until we receive the totality of your registration. You must pay the hotel any corresponding fees by December 30th, 2016 at the latest. Please allow up to five business days upon receipt for our team to process any payments.
After you have completed your registration process, you will receive your country and committee assignments. You will also receive results for any Special Applications submitted. Please note that unsuccessful applicants will automatically receive a position in a regular committee. After you receive your assignments, you will be asked to submit basic information for each delegate in your delegation.
Your registration process will be complete after you submit details for each of your delegates. Leading up to conference, we will post a range of resources to help you prepare successfully for the Summit of the Americas!
